The artist Stefan Gbureck did not do the easy way. For his favorite bar, he carried a fridge from Munich to Berlin. And while hitchhiking. His start: a rest stop on the A 9 in Eichinger, near Munich. His goal: the bar Wows! Ville in Kreuzberg. Five days should have taken the trip. Gbureck met Polish truckers, hippies in a VW bus, football fans - and again and again baffled police. He was given food and drink, Germany celebrated the victory over Argentina and awoke in the morning next to his refrigerator at the highway edge. His journey in pictures.
