We were yesterday invited to the new bar Shenù (Londres 91, between Casanova and Muntaner). Dress code was red. Funny the mix of people at those parties. Good people though. Wine, as usual, delicious. There are 3 guys (french). They started with Premier (still there, Provença, between Balmes and Enrique Granados, www.barpremier.com ), and it worked very well. Then they decided to go separate ways. One kept the bar, one opened Shenù (restaurant not yet tested but soon, www.shenubcn.com) and one opened Le comptoir du 7 (Calvet 7, www.lecomptoirdu7.com) which is an amazing good food restaurant. All have this particular atmosphere, that is to say, every time you entered one of the place, you're happy to be there... and happy to share.
